Teddy Bear Adventure

Teddy Bear Adventure

Through team challenges, social events, and creative fundraising initiatives, participants turn activities like bake sales, team lunches, and World Cup watch parties into opportunities to create meaningful impact.

In support of Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada, the Teddy Bear Adventure helps ensure children and youth connected to care receive the support, stability, and opportunities they deserve when they need them.

Why It Matters

Children and youth connected to the child welfare system continue to face disproportionately high barriers to stability, belonging, education, and mental health support.

Funds raised through Teddy Bear Adventure help support programs, services, and urgent needs for children, youth, and families across the country.

Together, we can help ensure young people have access to the care, connections, and opportunities they need to thrive.

How It Works

Each summer, Teddy Bear Adventure committee members and their teams organize fundraising activities that build connection, teamwork, and awareness while raising funds for children and youth connected to care. Check out some highlights from 2025!

Activities have included:

Team lunches and socials
Wellness challenges
Outdoor activities
Friendly fundraising competitions
Pickleball tournaments
Poker nights
Wine tastings

The campaign culminates in Nostalgia Night, the Teddy Bear Adventure’s signature networking event, where supporters from across participating organizations come together for an evening of music and games to celebrate the success of the campaign and their shared commitment to giving back to a mission that matters.

In 2026, as Teddy Bear Adventure expands nationally, we’re excited to host two events: one in Toronto and one in Calgary. At these events, we celebrate the collective impact of Teddy Bear Adventure and raise critical funds for children and youth involved in child welfare across Canada.

Every adventure helps create brighter futures.

Our Committee

Teddy Bear Adventure is led by a dynamic volunteer committee of dedicated and caring professionals across multiple cities. We are incredibly grateful for the time and energy they devote to raising funds and bringing awareness to the needs of children and youth involved in child welfare.

I joined the Teddy Bear Adventure committee last year, and from the very first meeting, I could tell this was something special. It wasn’t just about fundraising — it was about a shared purpose. – Ashley Vandertorn, Mackenzie Financial

Impact

Thanks to the leadership and generosity of young professionals and corporate teams, Teddy Bear Adventure continues to grow as a meaningful peer-driven fundraising initiative.

Since its inception, Teddy Bear Adventure has raised $1 million, with an impressive $350,000 raised last year alone to improve the lives of children and youth connected to care.
