This year’s 14th annual Joe Carter Classic Golf Tournament will be held on June 28, 2023. Learn more or follow Joe Carter Classic on social media at @joecarterclassic.
Inspired by a desire to give back to the Toronto community, the Joe Carter Classic Golf Tournament was created in 2009 by major league baseball and Toronto Blue Jays legend Joe Carter, his business partner Chris Samdeo and event Chairman James Dodds.
Recently, longstanding and dedicated supporter of Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada, AMJ Campbell, has become a presenting sponsor and Pierre Frappier, AMJ President and COO, has joined Joe Carter, James Dodds and Dean Baxendale as event co-chair.
The Classic brings together avid golfers and top sports and entertainment celebrities to take part in a two-day golf tournament to raise funds for the Foundation. Now in its 14th year, the Classic has become one of the top celebrity golf events in North America, raising over $2.5 million over a decade and a half for children, youth and families affected by child welfare.
Over the years, the Classic has welcomed many celebrities and athletes to support its cause of helping children and youth in care – from Hazel Mae and P.K. Subban to Gordie Howe and Wayne Gretzky.
