CIBC Swap for a Cause

This year, CIBC hosted their 8th annual Swap for a Cause event. Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada was thrilled to participate this year as a group of 250 CIBC executives and professionals came together for an evening of networking and activities that benefit a number of participating charities.

The evening included a charity clothing swap, a surprise balloon pop, a live DJ, door prizes, and a large live auction featuring items from local charities, with funds raised going directly to each organization. To-date, this event has raised over $85,000 for the Foundation’s Teddy Bear Fund to support vulnerable children, youth, and families in Toronto.

The Swap for a Cause event is a great example of Workplace Giving, bringing employees together to raise critical funds and awareness for issues affecting their community.
