CAF Gala – Teddy Bear Affair, 30th Anniversary!

It’s just over two weeks until the 30th annual CAF Gala – Teddy Bear Affair, an evening that’s bound to be filled with glamour, excitement, and BIG impact for our community’s most at-risk kids. Last year alone, an incredible $1.4M was raised!

Thanks to patron sponsors, CIBC and CGI, who have been supporting the Gala respectively for 20 and 21 years, the Children’s Aid Foundation will once again host its #CAFGala, and offer a variety of exclusive opportunities — from an incredible Silent Auction and Almost Live Auction, to a custom-designed dinner, and incredible array of musical entertainment.

Highlights at this year’s CAF Gala will include:

  • Returning culinary master, Chef Victor Barry (of Toronto’s Piano Piano), has designed an exquisite meal for the night’s Gala, with the help of former youth in care, Tyler.
  • Aerial arts performance by former youth in care and Children’s Aid Foundation ambassador, Anna.
  • Premiere of song written by Slaight Music artists, Jessica Mitchell and Jillea, based on lived experiences of former youth in care and Foundation funding recipients, Chana and Mercy.
  • The return of Montreal Rhapsody Orchestra.
