Teddy Bear Fund

Two little boys holding each other

Each year, Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada’s Teddy Bear Fund – with the support of our incredible donor community – grants $1.375 million to the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto (CAS Toronto) and Native Child and Family Services of Toronto to enable the organizations to respond to the immediate and urgent needs of children, youth and families in Toronto.

The programs and services supported by the Teddy Bear Fund are not covered by the provincial government’s basic operational funding – meaning they rely entirely on investments from our donor community to create life-changing impact for kids and families in need. In 2022/23, 18 programs were supported through the Teddy Bear Fund. Read the 2023-2024 Teddy Bear Fund Impact report to learn more.

With a primary focus on funding initiatives that strengthen families and prevent children from growing up in government care, the Teddy Bear Fund supports multiple programs and services impacting all three of our priority populations: children and families at risk, children and youth in care and youth in transition.

Thank you for considering a gift to Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada’s Teddy Bear Fund. Your generosity will have a direct and immediate impact on the most vulnerable children and families in Toronto, ensuring fewer children enter or grow up in government care.
