What is a Community Event?

Community events, also known as third-party events, are a critical component of the Foundation’s annual fundraising goals. Individuals, groups and companies can organize a fundraising event and donate the proceeds to the Children's Aid Foundation. This not only helps us to raise money, but also awareness for the Foundation and the work that we do.

Community events are a great way to get involved. Whether the purpose is a fun day or evening with family and friends, the celebration of a special occasion or a team-building exercise at work, everyone can participate. So support the Children's Aid Foundation and organize a Community Event today!

How to Organize a Community Event

1) Decide on an event. The possibilities are endless - from bake sales to golf tournaments and benefit concerts to birthday parties.

2) Register your event. Fill in the online proposal form below so that we can approve and acknowledge your event.

3) Choose a date and venue for your event. Once approved, select the date, time and location for your event.

4) Promote your event. Let people know about your event through word-of-mouth, letters, emails, posters, etc.

NOTE: The Children's Aid Foundation logo is a registered trademark and you must receive written approval for its use.
